My daughter loves this toy and tells me she is "painting." She is 3 yrs old. My son is not as interested, but he is only 18mo. Great for long road trips and church or any quiet setting. There aren't any little toys or attachments(lids for example) that you could lose. It is just the water marker. It's a very clean & quiet toy that you can reuse many times.

Great gift/toy! Since it's water you don't have to worry about stains. Perfect to use in car, at church or anytime. Nice bright colors, drys quickly so they can color again.

We bought this for our 3 1/2 year old for a quiet activity and it has met our needs. I will give this to him when I am making dinner or just need a few minutes to get something done. His favorite page is the construction site page.
